The Idiot's Guide to Well-being
Tanga ba ako? (Am I stupid?) I think I like being stupid too much, that time and time again, I manage to act like one. Never mind that the object of my so-called-affection (hmm, define it please!) doesn't even seem to care about me at all, but I have to expect some sort of TLC still.
Ms. Mel said that sometimes, the guys want some signs from the girl. If smiling at him a lot doesn't constitute positive signs, I might have to reconsider "harana" soon. It's still a long way to go, anyhow, since I'm not particularly sure of my feelings yet...I think I only recently realized I like him when he began dismissing me. Or maybe that's just the eternal human trait of wanting something one cannot have...
Back to the forefront of being an idiot, certain remedies need to be taken. Idiocy is a mental illness and of course, sometimes, natural tendencies are hard to battle ( read: Obsessive-Compulsive, Manic-Depressive, Anorexia). So I am coming up with my therapy:
1. Stop looking (at the object). Out of sight, out of mind.
2. Keep distance - to avoid collision just in case the object in pursuit suddenly breaks.
3. Keep within the legal speed limit.
4. Avoid school/church zones.
5. Keep intersections open.
6. No left turn.
7. Turn right with care.
8. No hitch-hiking.
9. Appreciate humps. They are good for you.
10. The scenery might look too green and inviting, but you have a destination, too. It's okay to admire, but keep focused on the road ahead.
You kow it's home when you get there. An open, vacant lot, however green the meadow and inviting the springs, can never replace the warmth of a couch and a kitchen.. Home is where your heart is.

WANTED: MALE
Got tagged by the cherryflavoredampalaya
The rules are simple:
* the tagged victim has to come up with 8 different points of their perfect lover/partner.
* need to mention the sex of the target.
* tag 8 victims to join this game & leave a comment in their Comments saying they've been tagged.
* if tagged the 2nd time, there's no need to post again.
Target: male
---8 different points---
Physically - Don't really go for the too hunky, chunky type. I'm more of a Hugh Jackman (of course, with THAT towel ala Swordfish - for emphasis, below is a picture) gal, great eyes, full head of hair (hmm, do I go for the body hair, too? YUP!). I'm not particular with looks, though of course I'm a big "manlalait", but I just want someone I can proudly introduce to mother, father and friends without a paper bag on his head.

Emotionally - Dependable. Someone who could laugh and cry and won't consider romantic movies mush
Psychologically - I could go for a little eccentric, but not too far out in space, please!
Spiritually - Someone to share my faith with...
Mentally - My one requirement: IDIOTS ARE BANNED
Financially - Am not Ms. Material Girl, but I do like my conforts...and Sunshine, I would like to go foursome with you on that world tour!
Socially - Neither a clam nor a clown. Can hold his own with anyone.
Others - I go for sweet, caring and funny guys...soft-spoken, quiet and sensitive. Family-oriented, nice to mommy, friendly with daddy, adorable with kids...hmmm
Tagging: Emilio's Mom, Eve, Uchi, Mai, Anna, Beige, Jed (go get your blog!) and Leah

Wednesday Blues
It was too early for the Hurrahs. The "launching" of the enhanced website remains in murky waters as the developer fails (again) to remedy technical glitches. [And because I'm walled-in by the website twenty fours a day, seven days a week, I won't get into details here about the technical glitches]
Well, Jed and I are really into the Korean tour thing (especially Jed). Though my ever "nakaka-windang" schedule is pushing my excitement to the back of my head, I am still looking forward to eating honest-to-goodness kimchi and kimbap, drinking soju with matching "gombae!!!", strutting down the streets of Seoul like Kim Sam Soon, and checking out the cute Oppas. Oh swell, now that we're talking oppa here, my mood is perking up (sans the aid of di-uretic, congested nose-inducing coffee).
Anyway, we're still in a dilemma. Jed is particulary worried about the korean won gaining over the dollar, and I'm still mulling over my schedule. The biggest mole on our path is the budget, tight as it is, what with the high costs of airfares and hotels. Hopefully too, we'll be able to snatch some free time off to fix our visa and find a travel agency that won't bleed us dry.
Yay, my post today is definitely a blah...reflection of my current state of health (my monthly date with the common colds) and mind (darn website!). I'm dying to watch Narnia...and, embarrassed to say this, see Piolo melt some hearts in Don't Give Up on Us. Darn, but Juday is one lucky girl...even if it's just for show.
